Training & Leadership

Decisions made
far from shore.

What it is

The boat is the classroom.
The wind is the teacher.

A sailboat is one of the few systems where every decision shows immediately: a bad tack costs meters, good communication is worth a second clawed back from a competitor.

Our training programs use sailing as a laboratory. No role-play, no PowerPoint: real situations, real choices, immediate feedback from the sea. We work with leaders, managers and teams in transition.

Pathways are co-designed with ICF-certified coaches and trainers, and can be combined with classroom sessions before and after the experience.

What you train

Six skills, one boat.

01

Decision-making

When the situation changes in seconds, deciding poorly beats not deciding. You learn the difference.

02

Communication

On board you can't send an email. You speak, listen, confirm. The first hours are often quiet.

03

Distributed leadership

The skipper leads, but in a tack everyone needs to do their part without waiting for orders.

04

Error management

At sea, mistakes can't hide. They're seen, corrected, forgotten. A powerful model for any team.

05

Reading context

Wind isn't visible. You read it on the waves, the flags, the clouds. A great proxy for reading markets.

06

Mental stamina

Six hours at sea shifts perspective. Daily micro-tensions lose weight, priorities reorder.

Formats

Three durations, three intensities.

Day Lab

A full day: theory briefing in the clubhouse, sailing with exercises, structured debrief.
